Dorothea Hug… …is the bbs-connection to South Asia. Dorothea has studied Indology in Munich, speaks Hindi and Urdu. She produced amongst others for ARD‘s South Asia Bureau in India’s capital city, New Delhi. The awarded script writer (“Between the Lines: India’s Third Gender“) is our contact person for stories from conflict-torn regions such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Iran. In her second home, India, Dorothea Hug is well connected, which makes it easy for her to undertake documentaries and reportage in her areas of specialization such as social issues, politics and defence.

Bernd Potschka… … is the technician in the team. He has studied communication at the Hochschule der Künste (Academy of Arts) in Berlin. If Bernd isn’t mixing sound, then he is sitting in one of the edit suites and editing for all its worth. Bernd is one of the founders of backfocus broadcast services GmbH and is responsible for the accounts and the administration of the company. |

Pavlos Petsalakis… …has kerosene in his blood. For decades this native Greek has been working successfully as a manager in the European airline business. On the side he develops and conceptualizes projects for large tourism associations. Pavlos is our contact person for productions in Southern Europe—from Sofia to Thessaloniki and Heraklion. He is responsible for location scouting and shooting permissions for television broadcasters and external film productions. |
